Scott Brown has been trying to run his new campaign with the same old tricks: faux-moderation, a pick-up truck, and a ‘bqhatevwr’ attitude. But the people of New Hampshire deserve real answers on the issues – here are just a few questions Brown should address in tonight’s #nhsendebate:
Why does he claim to be pro-choice when he voted to defund Planned Parenthood, backed legislation for waiting periods and forcing women to look at pictures of fetuses before abortions, and co-sponsored the Blunt Amendment to let employers deny contraception coverage for moral reasons?
Why did he vote against ensuring women earn equal pay for equal work? And what does he have to say to the New Hampshire women who earn just 78 cents on the dollar?
Why has he opposed raising the minimum wage? How does he explain that decision to hardworking New Hampshire women who make up nearly 70% of the state’s minimum wage earners?
Would he continue to choose hiding in the bathroom over addressing the issues or taking votes? He knows he can’t do that during the debate, right?
