We know what we’re going to hear tonight from President Trump — more fear-mongering, more division, and more efforts to limit our rights and our access to health care. But we sent him a powerful message on Election Day when we took back the House with pro-choice Democratic women. Tonight, he’ll have to face our women, who will keep fighting to hold him accountable and protect our rights. If Trump and the GOP can’t hear us yet, we’ll shout it a little louder in 2020. #ElectWomen
Corollary: When someone tells me that they don’t understand why it’s such a big deal that we elect more women to office.
We’ll take on the mantle of explaining! Just look at
the women we’ve elected – they are fighting for women and families every day.
They bring new perspectives to the table – and they stand up to anti-choice,
anti-family policies every chance they get.
