Today is #LatinaEqualPay Day. Latinas only earn $0.54 for every dollar a white, non-Hispanic man makes. A Latina must work all through 2018 and then through Nov. 20th, 2019 to earn what her white male counterparts earned in 2018 alone.

Let’s take this a step further: Men of all races earn, on average, $950,976 more than a Hispanic or Latina woman over the course of their lifetime.

Today is about raising awareness of one of the largest wage gaps in this country. Latinas deserve equal pay for equal work – now. We are proud to fight alongside Latinas to erase this inequity, and we are proud to support Latinas for office who can make a difference at policy-making tables!
